Emergency management year‑end report and local fire leadership updates presented to Public Safety Committee

Randy Gockley delivered a year‑end emergency management report for 2025 to the Ephrata Borough Public Safety Committee on Feb. 9, 2026, reviewing weather advisories, special events and facility plans within his area of responsibility.

Fire Chief Rich Gehman told the committee that leadership at Lincoln Fire Company has remained the same for 2026. Fire Chief Abigail Whitehill introduced new leadership for Pioneer Fire Company and provided the committee with that update.

At the start of the session Lt. Randolph confirmed the meeting agenda was posted in accordance with the borough’s rules and Vice Chairman Aronson moved to approve the posted agenda; Member Barr seconded and the motion carried unanimously.
