Burleson County Commissioners Court approved permits and private-road designations at its May 28 meeting, including deed-restricted private roads and a set of telecommunications projects in Caldwell.
On a motion by Commissioner Dwayne Faust with Commissioner Vincent Svec seconding, the court approved two private roads off County Road 308A—Woodland Trail and Autumn Oak Court—requiring deed restrictions that make road maintenance the responsibility of the Woodland Trail Property Owners’ Association. The order records unanimous approval.
Separately, the court approved five Frontier Communications projects at properties in Caldwell (507 W. Buck St.; 1183 State Highway 21; 403 Lakeside Dr.; 155 County Rd. 107; and 212 County Rd. 102). Commissioner Faust moved the approvals and Commissioner Svec seconded; the minutes record all votes as aye.
The private-road approvals include explicit deed restrictions obligating the homeowner association to maintain the roads, a common requirement when roadways remain private. The Frontier items were recorded as projects with attachments in the meeting packet; the court approved them without recorded amendment or opposition.
The approvals were part of routine infrastructure and permitting business during the session. Implementation of the private-road deed restrictions will occur through recording of the deeds and standard county processes.
