During the April 15 meeting, the board reviewed the Dubois County Property Maintenance Ordinance (2019-01) and discussed possible amendments; no ordinance changes were adopted at the meeting.
Commissioner Chad Blessinger presented a BIS Digital quote of $29,603.17 to upgrade the Commissioner/Council meeting-room recording equipment. The board reached consensus to continue using the current system while pursuing improvements to audio and video quality in the future.
County Attorney Gregory Schnarr and Auditor Sandra L. Morton acknowledged receipt of information from Baker Tilly regarding a corporate restructuring; the board consented to acknowledge the information and authorized Commissioner Blessinger to sign related documentation.
With the passage of House Enrolled Act 1158, the board noted it will consider adopting a county ordinance to guide departments in preparing and executing contracts at the next meeting.
