The Butler County Board of Supervisors on April 9 approved a set of routine administrative items including FY25 funding requests, quarterly reports, claims and acknowledgment of manure management plan updates.
Greg Barnett moved and Rusty Eddy seconded approval of the FY25 funding requests; the motion passed unanimously. The board also voted to place quarterly reports on file, including the Butler County Sheriff’s Office report, the county recorder’s fees collected report and the auditor’s cash report.
County Auditor Leslie Groen told the board that the county’s FY23 state audit was released on March 28, 2024. During public comment Supervisor Rusty Eddy relayed that a resident had called to express satisfaction that a local position with Trinity is available to a resident’s husband.
The board approved county claims and acknowledged Manure Management Plan Short Form Annual Updates for nine operations, including Fink Finisher Farm #65730, Mutschler Finisher #82834, Noelck Swine Farms #61371 and others listed in the meeting record. The board adjourned at 9:52 a.m. and scheduled its next regular meeting for April 16, 2024 at 9:00 a.m.
