Dubois County Council approves $1.14 million transfer to MVH Highway Restricted Fund

The Dubois County Council voted 6-0 on Dec. 30, 2024, to adopt Resolution 2024-20 and transfer $1,139,566.77 from the Motor Vehicle Highway (MVH) Highway Fund (Fund 002-1176) to the MVH Highway Restricted Fund (Fund 060-1173). Auditor Sandra L. Morton presented the resolution, which reiterates that amounts held in the restricted fund in excess of the statutory 50% allocation must remain there until expended for construction, reconstruction, or preservation.
