County approves deputations and bond for deputy district clerk

Burleson County Commissioners Court unanimously approved three deputations and accepted a bond for the deputy district clerk during its June 12 meeting in Caldwell.

County Judge Keith Schroeder and the four precinct commissioners voted to appoint Austin Elmore as Deputy Constable, Precinct 2; Steven Guerrero as a Deputy Sheriff; and Mickey (Margaret) Davis as Deputy District Clerk. Commissioner Vincent Svec moved the appointments and Commissioner David Hildebrand seconded; the court recorded unanimous approval.

The court also approved and accepted the bond for Margaret ("Mickey") Davis in her role as Deputy District Clerk after a motion by Commissioner Hildebrand and a second by Commissioner Faust that passed without opposition.
