Buchanan County supervisors approve letter seeking federal grant for ambulance

The Buchanan County Board of Supervisors on Feb. 27 approved a letter of support to Congresswoman Ashley Hinson seeking federal grant funding for a new ambulance and authorized Chairperson Dawn Vogel to sign the letter on behalf of the board.

Auditor Kris Wilgenbusch requested board action to approve and sign the letter to meet a short turnaround for the funding opportunity. Supervisor John Kurtz moved to approve the letter and authorize Vogel to sign; Supervisor Keith Wieland seconded. Kurtz also will submit the letters to the congresswoman’s office, and the board recorded the motion as approved "all in favor."
