At their Dec. 30 meeting, Fulton County commissioners approved several administrative items: retention of Keller Engineer, Inc. for fiscal year 2026, Planning Commission meeting dates for FY2026, and routine financial approvals.
Commissioner Hervey P. Hann moved to approve and execute an agreement to retain Keller Engineer, Inc. for 2026; the motion passed unanimously. The board noted the firm will be formally appointed at the Reorganizational Meeting on Jan. 6, 2026. Commissioner Randy H. Bunch moved to approve Planning Commission meeting dates for FY2026 as presented by Justin Evans (Per Diem Mapping and Planning Director) for advertisement in the Fulton County Newspaper; that motion also passed.
Financial housekeeping included approval of accounts payable dated Dec. 30, 2025 totaling $112,913.87 (Fund 100 General Fund $98,764.92; Fund 400 Debt Service $14,148.95) and approval of the Dec. 23, 2025 meeting minutes. A brief Salary Board meeting held at 9:48 a.m. set the salary for the newly hired Per Diem 911 Dispatcher. The board entered an executive session for personnel matters at 10:01 a.m. and reconvened at 10:29 a.m.
