Members of the Bedford Fulton Joint Recreation Authority—Matthew Wakefield, Paul Johnston and Eric Weisbrod—met with the Fulton County Commissioners Dec. 30 to seek two amendments to the authority's articles of incorporation and to request a board appointment. Commissioner Steven L. Wible moved to approve Resolution 9 of 2025, amending the articles to increase the number of board members; the board voted unanimously to adopt Resolution 9.
Commissioner Wible also moved to approve Resolution 10 of 2025, authorizing the authority to appoint police officers who will have the same rights as other police officers in the Commonwealth with respect to the property of the authority; that resolution was adopted unanimously. Following those approvals, the board appointed Craig Cutchall to a one-year term on the Bedford Fulton Joint Recreation Authority, with the term expiring Jan. 3, 2027.
The resolutions authorize appropriate officers to execute, verify and file articles of amendment as necessary; the meeting record does not list conditions or objections to the amendments and records unanimous approval.
