The Madison County Board voted March 17 to approve a six-year Dispatch Center equipment maintenance agreement renewal with Motorola Solutions for a contract total of $232,267.54.
The public-safety resolution, presented to the board by committee members, specifies the contract will be paid from Sheriff Administrative funds on an annual schedule: 2021–2022 — $36,746.06; 2022–2023 — $37,501.25; 2023–2024 — $38,279.08; 2024–2025 — $39,080.26; 2025–2026 — $39,905.48; and 2026–2027 — $40,755.41. The agreement was recommended by the Sheriff’s Office and the Public Safety Committee.
The board approved the resolution by roll call (ayes listed; nays, none). The contract was authorized to be executed by the County Board Chairman consistent with committee recommendation. The resolution includes that the purchase will be paid from Sheriff administrative funds and that the chairman is directed to sign the contract.
