Cibola County DWI coordinator highlights staff and funding source at Aug. 24 meeting

DWI Coordinator Vicki Kramer presented to the Cibola County Board of County Commissioners on Aug. 24 and introduced staff members Terry Harwood (administrative assistant), Hannah Windhorst (senior compliance officer) and Josh Valverde (compliance officer). Kramer told the board that the DWI office is funded through DFA and that those funds are used for misdemeanor DWI compliance, DUI compliance and domestic violations involving alcohol. County Manager Kate Fletcher expressed appreciation for the office and its staff.

The presentation was framed as informational; no board action was required or taken on the DWI program during the meeting. A DWI Advisory Board Bylaws item on the agenda was approved 4-0 in a separate motion.
