Lincoln County commissioners approved a multi-item consent agenda that included contracts, permits and routine approvals and then reviewed and recorded vendor claims.
Actions approved on the consent agenda included: approval of minutes and standard consent items; signing an Expansion Memorandum of Understanding to add the Town of Opal to the Committee to Guide Diversification of Kemmerer Area of Economy; an amendment to the county medical plan related to specialty drugs; a resolution enlarging the Etna Water and Sewer District to include the Robert and Sherie Samuelian 2002 Trust; approval of 24-hour/daily alcoholic beverage permits for Logan Wolfley (Afton Hill Climbs, Feb. 17–19, 2023) and for the Shriners Chariot races (Feb. 11–12, 2023); and a Support Services Agreement between Evaunt Inc. and Lincoln County contingent on the County Attorney’s review. Commissioner Connelly moved several items; Commissioner Bowers moved other approvals as recorded; all motions were recorded as adopted in the minutes.
The minutes also record that the board approved an Agreement with Sunrise Engineering to serve as a master-plan consultant pending County Attorney approval. The board convened executive sessions for personnel matters at 10:34 a.m. (resumed 10:35 a.m.) and again at 11:02 a.m. (resumed 11:47 a.m.).
After the formal approvals the meeting record lists claims and vouchers paid to vendors for county business covering maintenance, road and bridge parts, fuel, inmate medical services, utilities, publications and professional services. Examples in the minutes include Wagner & Wagner ($15,125.74), Conrad & Bischoff ($12,789.84), Afton Point S ($13,067.32), Jones Simkins ($9,200.00), and Wex Bank ($7,727.55). The meeting adjourned at 11:49 a.m.
