City schedules joint workshop on downtown master-plan regulations for March 25

Claudia Evans, the city urban designer, told the Downtown Action Committee on March 11 that the previously postponed workshop on proposed downtown master-plan regulations will be a joint session with the Planning Board on March 25 at 5 p.m. in the Flagler Gallery.

Evans said staff sent an email with a summary of the proposed changes and expects to share more information before the workshop, "hopefully, by March 20." She asked committee members who have not yet replied to confirm attendance and invited them to submit comments by email so the input can be included in the joint session.

Committee members expressed willingness to attend; staff encouraged those who cannot attend to provide written comments in advance so they can be heard at the workshop and in subsequent meetings.

The workshop is presented as an opportunity for committee members and planning-board members to discuss the draft regulations and for staff to collect feedback before proceeding with any formal regulatory steps.
