The Union County Board of County Commissioners conducted routine business on Monday and approved multiple consent and administrative items.
The board approved the meeting agenda and consent agenda, including a budget amendment (BA-26-04) to restore an EMS travel allocation, and the minutes of Dec. 15 and Jan. 5. The finance report was approved after the board agreed to void and reissue a $23.99 automotive-parts check (check number discussed in meeting materials) and to address a potentially double-paid Clay Electric Cooperative invoice (check #1308).
The board renewed the certificate of public necessity and convenience for AmeriPro EMS after staff confirmed required payments had been made. County staff read and the board approved a resolution memorializing a prior action to vacate a portion of the Lake Butler Highlands plat involving property owned by Blake Dix and Linda Johns; the clerk will annotate the plat records.
Other items were tabled: administration-office roof-bid award (to allow staff to examine bid itemization and FEMA scope) and the city’s traffic-signal-reimbursement request (pending invoice and interlocal-agreement review). The board set the next meeting for Feb. 2 at 6 p.m. at the Providence Community Center.
