At its Dec. 30 meeting the Gallatin County Commission unanimously approved Resolution 2025-113 to amend the fiscal year 2026 public health emergency preparedness fund after the county received $10,000 in unanticipated revenue from the Department of Public Health and Human Services.
Laurie Christiansen, the county health officer, told commissioners, “I do have a resolution before you for amending the public health, emergency preparedness fund by $10,000 due to unanticipated revenue.” Commissioners asked no substantive questions and offered brief congratulatory remarks before moving to a vote.
A committee member moved adoption of the resolution; the motion was seconded and recorded affirmative votes to approve Resolution 2025-113. The resolution adds the $10,000 to the emergency preparedness fund; the transcript does not specify how the added funds will be allocated within the fund.
