Council members discussed small drafting edits (for example, clarifying the president’s role in scheduling invocations and substituting the word "commemorate" in recognitions language). Staff will incorporate the comments, finalize the draft with the City Attorney’s Office and bring a resolution for adoption at the March 24 regular meeting; no formal vote was taken at the work session.

If adopted on March 24, the amendments will be effective per the resolution schedule presented by staff.
