Committee forwards three Big Game Commercial Services Board nominees to joint session after no public testimony

The Alaska House Resources Committee opened public testimony on March 9 for Brianna Hodge, Larry Kunder and Robert Mumford, nominees to the Big Game Commercial Services Board, but heard no in‑person or online testimony and closed the record.

Vice Chair Representative Mears moved a committee report documenting the hearings and, after the chair called for objections and heard none, the committee forwarded the three names to a joint session of the House and Senate for further consideration.

The committee also completed a separate confirmation hearing for Tom McKay’s nomination to the Alaska Oil and Gas Conservation Commission earlier in the same meeting and announced its next scheduled hearing for March 11, 2026.

No votes were recorded on the floor of the committee; the committee forwarded the nominees by unanimous consent (no objections).
