Cochise County Jail District approves consent agenda items 1 and 2, 3-0

The Cochise County Jail District Board of Directors convened March 10 in the Supervisor's Hearing Room in Bisbee and approved consent agenda items 1 and 2 by a 3-0 vote.

Chair opened the meeting, conducted roll call — noting District 1 Supervisor Crosby, District 2 Supervisor Gomez and District 3 Supervisor Antonari were present — and invited a motion to approve the consent agenda. "I move that we approve agenda items 1 and 2," the Chair said. After a second and no discussion, the Chair called for the ayes; board members responded "Aye," and the Chair announced, "Motion carries 3 0."

The board also confirmed that members and the public could attend via Microsoft Teams or the mobile app and reminded would-be speakers to submit a request form to the Clerk of the Board before 9 a.m. on the meeting day. No members of the public had requested to speak on the agenda items, the Chair said. The Chair noted that presentation materials displayed at the meeting might differ slightly from the published attachments.

With the consent items approved, the Chair stated the next meeting would be the regular board meeting and adjourned the jail district session.
