Flower Mound resident Susan Cox announces run for town council

During public comment, Susan Cox introduced herself to the mayor and council as a Flower Mound resident of 25 years, a business owner, and a mother and grandmother. Cox said neighbors encouraged her to run for town council and that she wants to bring a new perspective to address infrastructure and growth management, preserve community amenities, and advocate for residents. She said she is not a career politician but has experience running a business and contributing behind the scenes and asked for community support.

Mayor and council acknowledged the announcement and proceeded with the meeting agenda; public comment closed after other speakers.
