Wright County adopts 3% pay increase for elected officials, excludes supervisors

Wright County supervisors unanimously adopted Resolution 2026-09 on March 9, setting a 3% pay increase for elected officials for fiscal year 2027 while continuing wage freezes for the board of supervisors.

During roll call, the board recorded votes as follows: "Betty? Aye." "Lynn? Aye." "Ashley, aye." "Rick? Aye." "Dean? Aye." The chair announced "All ayes. Motion carries." The resolution applies to elected officials identified in the packet; the board did not increase supervisors’ pay as part of the measure.

The resolution takes effect for fiscal year 2027 as budgeted; staff will incorporate the change into payroll certification processes.
