Votes at a glance: Mount Clemens commission approves SEMCOG engagement, SMART contract and consent items

• Purchase and payment of invoices: The commission approved payments of invoices after a brief discussion about the location of invoice reports in meeting materials (a flash-drive distribution issue). The motion carried.

• Appointments to boards and commissions: The commission approved appointments as presented and discussed improving the transparency of application materials and possible charter-review options for appointment procedures.

• Remainder of the consent agenda: The commission approved the remaining consent items.

All recorded roll-call votes on the motions above were affirmative at the meeting; no failed motions or recorded abstentions were reported during the session. The meeting adjourned following commissioners’ closing remarks.
