Contractor says slab in ~90 days for Guthrie wrestling facility; pool punch list expected in September–October

At the Feb. 9 meeting the board received a construction update from Lane of Crossland Construction on the Guthrie wrestling facility project. Lane said site work and utilities began this week after a snowstorm delayed initial mobilization.

"We expect to have a slab about 90 days from now," Lane told the board, adding that crews will go vertical after the slab is in place. Lane said contractor schedules currently target punch‑list completion for the pool area in September or October, but cautioned the timeline depends on site utilities and weather.

Board members asked for timeline expectations and Lane provided the 90‑day slab goal and the September–October target for finishing the pool. No votes were required on the construction update; trustees thanked the contractor for the report.
