The Mount Clemens City Commission recorded several procedural and procurement votes on July 18.
The commission adopted the meeting agenda by roll call and approved minutes from the previous meeting.
On general business: the commission voted to receive (accept) the draft water-system capital improvement plan from F and B Operations for submission to the Michigan Department of Environmental Quality. The body also approved an executive-search proposal from the Michigan Municipal League (fee for the selected service: $12,500) to recruit a permanent city manager.
The commission approved purchases and payments of invoices as presented and awarded a contract for FVOP work (staff reported OSHA concerns had been addressed) following procurement review.
An executive session was held later in the meeting, after which the commission returned and adjourned.
