Votes at a glance: minutes, purchases, consent agenda, local agreements and resolutions approved

At the meeting the Mount Clemens City Commission recorded several formal votes and approvals.

Minutes and financial approvals: The commission approved work-session and regular-session minutes of Oct. 1, 2018, then voted to approve purchases and payments of invoices presented by administration.

Consent agenda: Commissioners moved to approve the consent agenda as presented and the motion passed by roll call.

Resolution opposing SB 637: The commission approved a resolution opposing Senate Bill 637, legislation that would streamline deployment of small wireless communications facilities and limit municipal control over pole attachments and related fees; the resolution was forwarded to the governor, state House and state representatives and the Macomb County executive.

Intergovernmental data-sharing agreement: The commission approved an intergovernmental agreement to share GIS infrastructure data (water, sanitary, storm, combined sewer locations) with the Macomb Interceptor Drain Drainage District to assist a countywide wastewater master plan. Commissioners questioned confidentiality and penalties for unauthorized dissemination; administration pointed to contract paragraph 5 addressing recipient responsibilities and confidentiality.
