Mount Clemens commission votes to enter executive session to discuss pending litigation

During the Dec. 16 meeting the Mount Clemens City Commission voted to move into executive session to discuss pending litigation. The chair made the motion citing the purpose as "pending litigation," a second was recorded and a roll-call vote produced the affirmative votes needed to convene the closed session. The body took a five-minute recess before moving into executive session.

The commission did not disclose details of the litigation during the public portion of the meeting; the motion and roll-call approval were recorded in the public minutes. No vote or other action on the litigation was disclosed in open session at the meeting’s close.
