Several routine and formal actions were recorded during Sarpy County meetings on March 3.
Board of Equalization: The Board of Equalization approved tax corrections numbered 17760 through 17762 after a motion and second; the transcript records the motion and that the motion passed.
Board of Commissioners: The Board of Commissioners approved Resolution 57 (rezoning Buffalo Springs Replat 1 from AG to RE-1 for lots 1–16 and outlots A–E) and Resolution 58 (the preliminary plat for the same subdivision). Both motions were made by Commissioner Klug and seconded by Commissioner Burmester; the transcript records that each motion passed but does not include a roll-call tally.
Board of Corrections: At the Board of Corrections meeting the board considered "Resolution 20 26 13, election of chairman of the Sarpy County Board of Corrections for calendar year 2026," and voted to elect Don Kelly as chairman. Commissioner Klug was named vice chair. The board also approved minutes from the Oct. 21 meeting.
What to watch next: Planning staff said the Buffalo Springs approvals require a final plat, a subdivision agreement that clarifies paving triggers and access easements, and recorded well maintenance/ownership agreements before the final plat can be approved.
