The Brevard County commission unanimously approved two conditional-use permits during Tuesday’s meeting.
For District 1, the board granted Princeton Technology LLC a conditional-use permit to allow on-premises consumption of full liquor, beer and wine as accessory to a bar in BU-1 zoning (application 25Z00044). Applicant Sachin Shenoy, who identified himself as the operator, said the business already holds a full liquor license and will comply with applicable regulations. A commissioner moved to approve the CUP with an added condition that the permit be limited to establishments operated by CNS Restaurants Inc.; the applicant accepted that contingency and the motion passed unanimously.
In District 2, the board approved a conditional-use permit for land alteration for Spacewalk Groves Inc. (application 25Z00057). The item was represented by Kim Rezinka; the motion to approve was seconded and carried unanimously.
Votes at a glance: both permits passed on unanimous voice votes.
Why it matters: CUP approvals change what uses are allowed at specific sites and can include operational or ownership conditions. The added restriction on the Princeton cup ties the permit to a specific operator, which may limit future transfers without further board action.
What’s next: Staff will record conditions in the permit paperwork and ensure the conditions are reflected in the county’s permit files.
