Everwood Section 1 (66 lots) granted construction approval by Tippecanoe drainage board

Lance McElroy of Arbor Homes presented Everwood Section 1, a 66-lot first section of a larger subdivision near County Road 500 and US 231. McElroy said the developer has worked through plan revisions with Christopher Burke Engineering and had satisfied the one outstanding condition on the prior conditional approval.

The county surveyor reviewed the site, noted the drainage connections to Little Wheelock Creek, and said the plans comply with the ordinance. The surveyor recommended construction approval and said Christopher Burke Engineering would send a construction approval memo shortly. The board had no public commenters on the item and moved to grant construction approval; the motion passed by voice vote.

Jeff Kennedy (Christopher Burke Engineering) is expected to issue the construction approval memo imminently, and the developer will proceed with construction sequencing and utility work under the county’s standard construction approvals. The board and staff asked the developer to ensure required documentation and final memos are filed prior to extensive earthmoving.
