Steve Dalton reappointed chair; Bob Prendergast named vice chair of Encinitas Planning Commission

The City of Encinitas Planning Commission on Feb. 18 reappointed Steve Dalton (the presiding commissioner) as chair and selected Bob Prendergast as vice chair by unanimous votes. Commissioners praised Dalton’s leadership and experience and encouraged the two newly seated commissioners to participate in subcommittees.

Chair Dalton thanked commissioners and said he looked forward to continuing in the role. Commissioners also noted ongoing work items, including a subcommittee on a potential citywide dark‑skies program. The motions for chair and vice chair passed 5‑0.
