Ravena schedules March 23 public hearing on use-variance request for 9 Main Street

The Ravena Village Board announced a public hearing for Monday, March 23, 2026, at 6:30 p.m. at Village Hall to consider a change in occupancy at 9 Main Street that requires a use variance.

Chair (S1) read the notice and said the property owners and adjacent neighbors were notified by mail. The notice, read as submitted by Gabby Ambrose (recording secretary of the Regina planning and zoning board), invites all interested parties to attend and comment at the hearing.

According to the notice read into the record, the change in occupancy triggers a use-variance review under local zoning procedures; the notice listed nearby properties that were notified. The board did not debate the substance of the variance request during the March 3 meeting and no formal determination was made; the matter will be considered at the scheduled public hearing.

The clerk’s office will hold the application materials and the public may inspect the final assessment roll and related documents at Village Hall during regular business hours.
