The superintendent said Dr. Grasser has served as director of communications and as Bell Foundation executive director in the division since 2021 and has 10 years of school administration experience, including time as an assistant principal and principal. "I have been the interim executive director of human resources for the last 3 months and it's really been a great experience," Grasser said, adding she looks forward to overseeing student services and continuing existing initiatives.
Officer Kenyatta Grigsby, introduced from the Manassas City Police Department, described her background as a school resource officer and said her priorities are relationship-building and keeping students and staff safe. "Being a school resource officer, my goal was always to build relationships and keep student and staff safe," she said, adding that she looks forward to transitioning into the role.
