PSAP and radio‑tower projects making steady progress; two sites stacking towers

MIS and radio‑project staff reported updates on PSAP grants and multiple tower sites. PSAP staff (S7) said the county received 2024 spending allocations and has begun spending 2025 grant funds. On the tower project, staff noted receipt of drawing sets for the Yuba site; site preparation such as shelters and concrete pads is underway at several locations.

"They actually are stacking towers at two of the sites. Keyesville and Golden both are stacking towers," MIS staff said. Project staff added that the Richland Center site should be signed shortly and that US Cellular activity at some sites is moving forward. Committee members asked to schedule a follow-up update from TrueNorth coordinator Mike Day at the next meeting to address outstanding questions.

No formal committee action was taken beyond scheduling the next update; staff will continue to report progress and provide any required follow-up materials to the committee.
