At its regular meeting the Cinnaminson Township Board of Education approved several business and finance items the administration said are needed for district operations and facilities.
Business officer Missus Livingood presented Section 15 items that the board approved by voice vote. The administration asked the board to approve a withdrawal from the district's capital reserve of $1,000,003.47 to fund the middle school boilers and domestic hot water heater project. Livingood also presented acceptance of the revised 2023'24 funding statement for Chapter 192 and approval of an ARPA-related amendment to an ESSER grant; the board also approved the 2024'25 student activity center budget and several contracts.
Among contracts reviewed, the administration recommended and the board approved awarding the district's food-service request-for-proposal to Sodexo for the 2024'25 school year. The board also approved membership in cooperative purchasing agreements (Bergen Bids and Ocean County procurement portal) and authorized disposal of a district piano through GovDeals. The meeting included approval of a $904.28 donation from the Cinnaminson High School class of 1973 to offset outstanding lunch balances.
Board members voted in favor of the slate after no substantive questions were raised during the public session. The board took no additional discussion or amendments on these items at the meeting.
