Board honors departing member and administers oath to new members

The Herman-Neosho-Rubicon School District board paused to recognize a long-serving board member for 15 years of service and to welcome newly appointed members.

A board member (Board member) reflected on 15 years of service, thanking administrators and fellow board members and naming past colleagues. "We have a very special community and children that deserve the best," the board member said, and welcomed Clayton Hall and Dan Senga to the board. Other members expressed appreciation: "We thank you and the rest of the board for your commitment and the time you've spent on this board," one board member said.

The group recited oath language affirming support for the U.S. Constitution and the state constitution and the faithful discharge of duties. The recognition included plans to present a brief tribute to the departing members and invited continued collaboration even after leaving office.
