Wall School District board approves assistant principal hire, election workers pay and two special student remote-status requests

The Wall School District 51-5 board approved several personnel and administrative items during the meeting. By voice vote the board approved hiring Rebecca Myers as a K–12 assistant principal for the 2024–25 school year after a motion and second.

On election administration, the board approved the slate of election board workers — Stacy Billmeier, Doris Eisen Brown, Jerry Johanison, Cheryl Lester and Juanita Schrader — and set pay at $250 per day in partnership with the city. The board approved the motion by voice vote.

The board also considered two special student-status requests from currently enrolled district students seeking remote enrollment prior to the official count date; administration recommended approval and described a preference to prioritize Northern-first course options (which are free) before paid alternatives. The board moved and approved both special-student requests by voice vote.
