Also noted: the board approved a search firm for the superintendent search (Hazard Young and Atia as read in the meeting) and a community survey and two community forums were announced as part of the search process. A public commenter (Meredith Black) raised questions about the content of the superintendent survey and urged continued emphasis on structured literacy districtwide.
