Faith Armanitis, a resident speaking during the hearing-of-citizens period, asked trustees whether 72 students slated to attend out-of-district next year represented a high number for the district and raised questions about the newly approved website contract.
"Is 72 a high number?" Armanitis asked. Trustees responded that Teterboro enrollment continues to grow while other schools remain roughly the same, without offering a numerical benchmark for comparison.
Armanitis also asked about the Apogee website contract approved tonight and whether there is a launch date and whether parents' input will be solicited. Board administrator Carl replied, "Not at this time," on a launch date and confirmed that parents will be asked for input as the district works to implement the new platform.
The board did not take further action at the public comment period on either item; both enrollment patterns and the website timeline will be handled through administrative follow-up and future agenda items.
