Award presentations at the closing session recognized student achievement across multiple program areas. Liz Hertel (program director) opened the awards, and Postmaster General Lydia Lopez announced the outstanding page award for Sloan Wills.
Ellis Gilmore, the Chief Lobbyist Executive, presented the outstanding lobbyist award to Adrianna Jenkins for leadership and support of peers. Casen Farley, editor in chief, named Athena Johanski reporter of the year for her communication and energy. Eva Wagner and Nia Faisal presented chamber-specific awards to Elise Gerhardt and Antonio Rutledge, respectively. James Rosenzweig (program committee chair) presented the Linda Metcalf outstanding adviser award to Ethan Harrington of the Mill Creek delegation.
Nolan Martin (State Executive Director) and session leaders also announced the outstanding delegation of the year as Harrison Prep and thanked sponsors and adult advisors for supporting the program.
