Board approves hires, staffing plan, contracts and 3.5% staff compensation increase

The Herman-Neosho-Rubicon School District Board approved a series of routine business items, including a recommended teaching hire, the district’s 2024–25 biostaffing plan, teacher contract template language, and a 3.5% increase for support-staff compensation.

Board members also approved open-enrollment actions reflecting 21 inbound and 27 outbound applications, set regular meeting dates for 2024–25, and accepted a three-year pupil-transportation contract that includes a flat 4.5% annual adjustment and annual CPI-based review (with fuel surcharges subject to adjustment).
