Brightworks, a local coworking provider, described its network of spaces in Ann Arbor and introduced a new downtown location on 5th and Liberty in the Darling Building during an FYI segment.
A Brightworks representative said the company offers virtual memberships, co-working desks and private offices with included amenities such as free coffee, internet and printing. The representative noted Brightworks' Forest Cove location on Miller Road adjoins the Botsford Preserve and highlighted the 777 Building on the city's south side as another established site.
"Our goal is hospitality, and we really feel that that's what sets us apart from a lot of other coworking," the representative said, inviting prospective members to visit brightworkscoworking.com for more information.
Why it matters: New and expanding coworking space affects local commercial real estate, downtown foot traffic and options for entrepreneurs, remote workers and small startups seeking flexible workspace.
What was not in the broadcast: No lease terms, pricing, staffing or city permitting details were discussed on air; the segment focused on amenities and location descriptions.
