Lansing — The House Committee on Election Integrity adopted two proposed substitutes and reported two additional bills with recommendation before adjourning.

Representative Fox moved to adopt a substitute changing the start date for House Bill 4,583 from Jan. 1, 2026 to Jan. 1, 2027; the clerk's roll call was recorded as 9 yays, 0 nays and the motion prevailed. A substitute to House Bill 4,584 that likewise changed the start date to Jan. 1, 2027 was also adopted by roll call (recorded as 9 yays, 0 nays).

Later in the meeting the chair read witness registration cards for multiple organizations. The committee then moved to report House Bill 5,467 with recommendation; the clerk recorded 6 yays, 0 nays, and 3 pass and the motion prevailed. The committee next reported House Bill 5,468 with recommendation; the clerk recorded 9 yays, 0 nays, 0 pass and the motion prevailed. After those actions the committee adjourned.
