The Pittsford board approved a package of personnel and contract items during the meeting.
Human Resources reported two administrator appointments, supervisory and technical appointments, resignations and retirements across professional and support staff. The board accepted both the professional-staff and support-staff reports. HR also described a restructuring that replaces an assistant purchasing-agent title with a Purchasing Assistant position; presenters said the change will not increase full-time-equivalent (FTE) counts and is cost-neutral. The board approved the new title.
The board approved a four-year contract with the Pittsford District Administrators Association (PDAA). HR described the agreement as a multi-year measure intended to keep administrative compensation competitive while remaining fiscally responsible.
Curriculum staff requested approval of a new AP Statistics textbook, The Practice of Statistics, which the board approved and asked be placed in students' hands. Student services presented the Summer Enrichment Institute (SCI) budget as a self-sustaining program funded by registration fees and anticipated revenues from summer productions; the board accepted the SCI budget.
All items listed across human resources, curriculum, special-education committee recommendations and other memoranda of agreement were included on the consent agenda and approved without opposition.
