OLL Reports $35,030 in Ongoing Litigation Costs; Key Cases Await Decisions

Deputy Director Mike Dorr provided a brief litigation update to the Committee on Legal Services, reporting no material change in three matters and providing a cost breakdown.

Dorr said the office is still awaiting a decision from the 10th Circuit in Gays v. Groomers and awaiting a decision on a motion to dismiss in United States v. Polis. He also said there has been no change in IEC complaints; the IEC met recently but did not place those complaints on its agenda and the council is awaiting the IEC's next steps.

Dorr reported the OLL has spent $4,925 on Gays v. Groomers, $10,050 on United States v. Polis, and $20,055 on IEC complaints, for a combined total of $35,030 to date. He described the update as brief and indicated the office will provide further information as developments occur.
