Planning Commission approves Meridiana plats, including 50-foot patio-home lots

The Planning, Development and Zoning Commission approved two Meridiana plats on May 13, voting 5–0 to accept the final plat for Cadence Scribe Phase 2 and the preliminary plat for Meridiana Section 82, which features small 50-foot lots and patio-home (zero lot line) configurations.

The items were included on the consent agenda and were not pulled for separate discussion. At the start of the meeting an unidentified commissioner asked staff whether Section 82 is a townhome section and whether the lots are 50 feet. A staff member clarified that Section 82 is a small-lot layout with patio homes and a zero lot line configuration.

Those recorded present for the vote were Ryan Miller, Kyle Moraskin, Mary Ann Atkinson, Christy Kennard and William Richardson; Kent Haynes and Dolores Martin were not present at the time of the vote.

There were no public comment cards submitted for the meeting and no items requiring action on the regular agenda. With no further business, the commission moved to adjourn and the motion to adjourn passed 5–0.
