Harlandale ISD trustees convene closed session; no public action announced

The Board of Trustees of HARLANDALE ISD met in a special session Feb. 25, 2026, and voted to convene in closed session under the Texas Government Code, chapter 551, sections 551.071–551.084, a board member said. The motion to go into closed session was moved by Miss Reese and seconded by Mr. Martinez; trustees used electronic voting and the motion carried.

The board returned to open session at about 8:10 p.m., and staff reported “no action” on agenda items 3(a) and 3(b). The transcript does not specify the subject(s) discussed in closed session or any formal decisions taken during it.
