At its Feb. 25, 2026 meeting the Limestone County Commissioners took the following formal actions:
- Consent agenda: Approved by voice vote (SEG 024'SEG 035).
- County burn ban: Court voted to keep the county burn ban in effect due to high winds (SEG 036'SEG 049).
- Monthly reports: Accepted for the record (SEG 050'SEG 061).
- NRG Texas Power LLC nomination: Court voted to nominate NRG to apply for a state sales-and-use tax relief enterprise grant under the Texas Enterprise Zone Act; recorded opposition from two commissioners but the motion passed (SEG 062'SEG 227). The statutory basis cited was chapter 2303 of the Texas Government Code.
- County Road 374: Extended public comment and discussion occurred; the court moved to table further action so commissioners, residents and quarry operators can meet and pursue a negotiated repair and potential road-use agreement (SEG 231'SEG 858).
- Body-worn camera program resolution: Adopted by voice vote (SEG 859'SEG 878).
- Budget transfer: $500 moved to the communication center pre-employment testing line item; approved by voice vote (SEG 879'SEG 891).
- Adjournment: Meeting adjourned (SEG 891'SEG 899).
