Daggett County staff reported progress Feb. 24 on the Daggett County Health Business and Community Center project and said they expect to bring construction change orders forward for board consideration.
Speaker 2 said site grading is nearly complete and that Sheetrock delivery is scheduled for Thursday. "They're moving forward, get yard pretty well in place in the grading of the yard," Speaker 2 said, and added that drywall delivery would arrive Thursday.
Speaker 3 said scoring decisions were delayed and that parts of the project schedule may shift further into March. He said staff are actively working on construction change directives and "probably in the next 10" days will have official change orders to bring to the clerk's office for placement on a future agenda.
Speaker 3 also reported that county staff handled low-voltage Ethernet runs throughout the building with help from Cordell and his staff and that Cordell "knows exactly where every line runs through that building," which Speaker 3 said will aid long-term IT administration. The transcript shows inconsistent spellings of that staff member's name (appearing as both "Cordell" and "Cordele").
A construction coordination meeting was announced for Thursday at 10:00 a.m. to follow up on progress. No public comment on the project was recorded in the meeting transcript.
