Ashe County approves purchase of two ambulances ahead of EMS transfer

The commissioners approved the purchase of two ambulances to support the county’s planned EMS transfer. Stryker and other equipment estimates were shared to illustrate capital needs for new vehicles and patient‑loading devices, with staff noting maintenance and potential leasing options.
