Moline-Coal Valley CUSD 40 adopts Amplify K–8 ELA in six-year, $1.15M contract

The Moline-Coal Valley Community Unit School District No. 40 Board of Education voted Feb. 23 to adopt Amplify K–5 and Amplify ELA 6–8 for a six-year term at a stated total cost of $1,151,753.15.

District curriculum staff introduced teachers who participated in a K–8 pilot and invited them to share classroom experience. District staff and teachers highlighted built-in differentiation and accommodations for special education and multilingual learners, including read-alouds with human narration, adjustable font sizes, and levels of task complexity. Teachers described a vocabulary app and a digital dashboard that returns data for individual students and classes.
