Creative Placemaking Committee elects Erica Wolfson chair, names Alan vice chair and Zav DuBois secretary

At its meeting, the Mariposa County Creative Placemaking Committee conducted nominations and roll-call votes to fill officer positions. Nominees were accepted and confirmed by voice or roll-call vote.

Zav Dubois nominated Erica Wolfson for chair; the committee recorded the vote as unanimous among members present and eligible to vote and confirmed that Wolfson will serve as chair starting next month. Committee members noted that some remote participants (including Christina) were not eligible to vote on the floor that day and discussed forthcoming county options to count online participation toward quorum.

For vice chair, Alan was nominated and accepted; members voted by roll call and the committee recorded that Alan would serve as vice chair. Zav DuBois was nominated and accepted the secretary role and was elected.

Committee members discussed the summer availability of officers and the expectation that vice-chair duties can help cover scheduling gaps. The board clerk is working on remote participation mechanisms to ensure online attendance counts toward quorum in the future; no formal change to committee bylaws was made at this meeting.
